ISO 21001:2018, the first-ever management system standard published by ISO specifically for the education sector. A common management tool for all organizations providing education which is capable of meeting the needs and requirements of learners and other stakeholders.

ISO 21001:2018 isan International standard related with UN Sustainability Development Goal- (SDG 4 - Quality Education- Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all).

Eighty-six experts from national standardization bodies of 39 countries were involved in developing the EOMS standard, with the added participation of stakeholder organizations from various educational sectors. The standards can be mapped with any other National/ Regional standard and guidelines.
